Collect Early Wins and Send Them to the Brand
When content is published on social media platforms that offer public-facing metrics (views, impressions, comments, etc.), it's easy for the brand to monitor the performance of a sponsorship.
But it's harder for brands to know how something is doing when performance metrics are not public or less obvious.
For example, if you're doing a newsletter sponsorship, the brand isn't seeing the replies you're getting to the email blast.
Or maybe you have event sponsors. They're only seeing how many people cruised through their booth.
You can fix that by screenshotting the heck out of early positive engagement you're receiving privately and sending that to the brand!

They are desperate for any indication, even anecdotal, that they made a good decision by hiring you for this sponsorship.
Here's an example of a text message I sent to the Partnerships Manager at community platform Circle after I published a sponsored video with them:

As you can see, positive comments like this get instantly shared internally and make your contact look like a genius.
And you can bet your booty they'll want to hire you again.
