When I ran my agency, 30% of the time, when a creator would publish their sponsorship, we would catch some sort of error.
Sometimes, they used the wrong copy in the caption.
Sometimes, they mistyped the discount code.
Sometimes, the dang tracking link wasn't clickable.
You name it, I've seen it.
And because we often didn't know precisely when the creator would publish on a given day, we started monitoring their accounts like hawks to quickly flag any issues we caught.
The absolute worst was when we'd email someone within a few minutes of them publishing, calling out a problem, and we wouldn't hear from them for 6-8 hours…or even 1-2 days!
Meanwhile, their audience would leave tons of frustrated comments since they couldn't redeem the offer.

"Start an agency!" they said. "It'll be fun!" they said.
